 Here's a simple and delicious pasta recipe 



๐Ÿ Classic Garlic and Olive Oil Pasta (Aglio e Olio)


Ingredients:


200g (7 oz) spaghetti or your favorite pasta


3–4 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced


1/4 cup olive oil


1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a bit of heat)



Salt (for pasta water)


Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)



Instructions:


1. Boil the pasta:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water, then drain the rest.



2. Prepare the sauce:

While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic slices and sautรฉ until golden brown (about 1–2 minutes). Be careful not to burn them.



3. Add pepper flakes:

If using, add red pepper flakes to the oil and cook for 30 seconds.


4. Combine pasta and sauce:

Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the garlic oil. Toss well to coat. If the pasta seems dry, add a bit of the reserved pasta water to loosen it.



5. Finish and serve:

Sprinkle with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan if desired. Serve immediately.
