⏱️ Cook Time: 10 mins

๐Ÿง‚ Ingredients:

6–8 slices of bread (white or brown)

1 boiled and mashed potato

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 green chili, finely chopped (optional)

2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves

½ teaspoon garam masala (optional)

½ teaspoon chili powder or black pepper

Salt to taste

Water (for soaking bread)

๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿณ Instructions:

1. Prepare the Filling:

In a bowl, mix the mashed potato, onion, green chili, coriander, chili powder/pepper, garam masala (if using), and salt.

Mix well to form a slightly dry, cohesive filling.

2. Prepare the Bread:

Cut off the edges of the bread slices.

Dip each slice very briefly in water (just enough to moisten), then squeeze out excess water by pressing it between your palms.

3. Form the Balls:

Place a spoonful of the potato filling in the center of the squeezed bread.

Bring the edges together and roll into a smooth ball. Seal the edges well.

Repeat with remaining slices.

4. Fry:

Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.

Gently drop the bread balls into the hot oil.

Fry until golden brown and crisp. Remove and drain on paper towels.

๐Ÿ‘‰ To make them healthier, you can also air-fry or bake at 375°F (190°C) until golden and crispy.

๐Ÿฅฃ Serving Suggestions:

Serve hot with ketchup, green chutney, or tamarind chutney.

Great for tea-time or as a p
