Ingredients:

2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour


1 tbsp baking powder


1/2 tsp salt


1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened


1 cup (200g) granulated sugar


2 large eggs

1 cup (240ml) milk


1/4 cup (25g) unsweetened cocoa powder


2 tbsp hot water



Instructions:


1. Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.



2. Mix Dry Ingredients

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.



3. Cream Butter and Sugar

In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3–4 minutes).



4. Add Eggs and Vanilla

Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.



5. Combine Wet and Dry

Add the dry ingredients alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.
