 Here's a simple and creamy white pasta recipe that’s perfect for a quick, comforting meal. It's a classic white sauce (bรฉchamel) pasta with garlic, cream, and cheese.

๐ŸŒฟ Creamy White Sauce Pasta (Serves 2-3)


๐Ÿง„ Ingredients:


200g pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)


2 tbsp butter


4–5 cloves garlic, finely chopped


2 tbsp all-purpose flour


2 cups milk (warm)


½ cup fresh cream (optional, for extra richness)


½ cup grated cheese (mozzarella, parmesan, or cheddar)


Salt and pepper to taste


1 tsp chili flakes (optional)


1 tsp mixed herbs or oregano


Optional: sautรฉed vegetables (mushrooms, bell peppers, broccoli, corn)




๐Ÿ Instructions:



1. Boil the Pasta:


Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente.


Drain and set aside, reserving ¼ cup of pasta water.




2. Make the White Sauce:


In a pan, melt butter and add chopped garlic. Sautรฉ until aromatic (don’t brown).


Add flour and stir continuously for 1–2 minutes to make a roux.


Slowly add warm milk, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.


Cook on medium heat until the sauce thickens.




3. Add Cream and Cheese:


Stir in cream (if using) and grated cheese.


Season with salt, pepper, chili flakes, and herbs.


Add a splash of pasta water if the sauce is too thick.




4. Mix Pasta:


Add cooked pasta (and sautรฉed veggies if using) into the sauce.


Toss well to coat everything evenly.




5. Serve:



Garnish with extra cheese, herbs, or parsley.


Serve hot with garlic bread or a side salad.
