Ingredients:
Paneer (cottage cheese) – 200 grams (grated)
Boiled potatoes – 2 medium (mashed)
Bread slices – 2 (edges removed, soaked and squeezed)
Onion – 1 small (finely chopped)
Green chili – 1 (finely chopped) (optional)
Ginger – 1 tsp (grated)
Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Red chili powder – ½ tsp
Garam masala – ½ tsp
Chaat masala or amchur – ½ tsp
Salt – to taste
Cornflour – 2 tbsp (for binding)
Oil – for shallow frying
Instructions:
1. Mix the Base:
In a large bowl, combine grated paneer, mashed potatoes, soaked bread, chopped onion, green chili, ginger, and coriander leaves.
2. Spice it Up:
Add red chili powder, garam masala, chaat masala, and salt.
Mix well. Add cornflour for binding. The mixture should be soft but not sticky.
